I charge $50 per hour lesson and $30 per half hour lesson.

Cancelations are understandable from time to time. If you need to cancel (though I would try rescheduling first), please let me know by the night before your lesson at the latest. If you cancel on the day of the lesson then I ask that you be prepared to pay for it in full. If you have a last minute conflict and want to avoid paying for your missed lesson, consider rescheduling (see below).
I do my best to be extremely accommodating with reschedules. If you have a last minute (day of) conflict and are willing to change your lesson to another day that same week then you can avoid paying for a missed lesson. However, be aware that we may not be able to find a time that works for both us for the remainder of the week, in which case you can choose to have two lessons the following week, or pay for the missed lesson.
Some people prefer to pay at each lesson with cash or check. Others write a check at the beginning of each month or pay several lessons ahead so they don’t have to deal with money every time. I’m fine with either of these methods. I keep track of all payments and will remind you when you owe next if you choose to pay at the beginning of the month or in advance.
If you are late and I do not have another student right after you then I’m happy to teach you an hour from when you arrived. If I do have another student scheduled immediately following your lesson, then unfortunately the lesson will be shorter than your allotted time due to the lateness.
